“Voice of a bird”

My day always begins with a whisper of a bird.
The bird is singing wherever I am and whatever I am doing.
Sometimes, the voice gets loud and sometimes more gentle.
There are also times when her call disappears.
I do not know where she goes at the end of each day.

いつも鳥のささやき声で、一日が始まる。
どこにいても何をしていても、鳥は鳴いている。
その声は時に大きくなったり、優しくなったりする。
時にはその声が消えてしまうこともある。
わたしが眠っている間は知らない。
どこかを飛んでいるのだろうか。

Book & Exhibition

I am going to publish my first photography book “Voice of a bird” from asteriskbooks. A solo photo exhibition is also going to be held at MEDIA SHOP gallery in Kyoto. There is a talk show with Mika Kobayashi (Photo Critic / Guest Researcher of National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo) on December 9th. This photo exhibition is part of an exhibition “asterism” which is  organised by asteriskbooks.

初の写真集 “Voice of a bird” をasteriskbooks から出版します。それに合わせて、個展を京都のMEDIA SHOP galleryにて開催します。12月9日（土）には、小林美香先生（写真研究者・東京国立近代美術館客員研究員）をお招きしてトークショーを行います。展示は、asteriskbooks 企画の写真展 “asterism” の一環です。
